September 2026 Issue
Welcome to our September 2026 CACHI Highlights Bulletin!
As we gear up for our inaugural California ACH Week next month, October 19–23, we’re reminded of just how important partnership is to our work and to the strength of the ACH Network. We truly couldn’t do this without you, your partnership, and your continued commitment.
And as we head into the final few months of what has been a challenging year, we’re heartened by the passion, resilience, and dedication you continue to bring to supporting your communities and working alongside partners to improve health and wellbeing across California. Your hard work and commitment have not gone unnoticed.
California ACH Week is, at its heart, about celebrating and uplifting that work—your accomplishments, your partnerships, and the many ways you are showing up for your communities. We’re excited to shine a light on what ACHs are making possible across California and to celebrate all that we are accomplishing together.
Thank you for reading the Highlights Bulletin. If you have any questions or feedback, please reach out to Tina at tina@cachi.org.

Welcome Limairy Rodriguez, CACHI’s New Program Manager!
We are super excited to welcome Limairy Rodriguez to the CACHI Team as our new Program Manager. She brings a wealth of knowledge, skills, and experience to CACHI, and we’re thrilled for her to support our programmatic and network building priorities. You will start to see her in meetings, webinars, and other events as she ramps up and gets onboarded to all things CACHI and the ACH Network. Please join us in welcoming her! See message below from Limairy:
Hi, I’m Limairy! I joined CACHI this month and am thrilled to be part of
the team as a Program Manager. I bring experience in program design and implementation, stakeholder engagement, and human-centered approaches to public health, but what I’m most passionate about is building relationships that help drive meaningful change.
In my role at CACHI, I will support CACHI’s programs and initiatives, strengthen connections across the ACH Network, and contribute to learning, technical assistance, and cross-site collaboration. I’m especially excited to learn from ACH leaders and partners across California and to support the relationships and infrastructure that make collective action possible.
Outside of work, I love finding new hole-in-the-wall spots, exploring museums and art galleries, and catching the golden hour – especially when it’s over the Golden Gate Bridge. I’m originally from the Rio Grande Valley in South Texas and am grateful to have called the Bay Area home for nearly 10 years. If you’d like to connect, please say hi! I’d love to meet you (limairy@cachi.org).

Join us for CACHI’s Public Webinar on Shaping California’s Health Future: Thurs. Oct 22, 12-1:30pm
Please join us for this webinar on Shaping California’s Health Future on Thurs, Oct. 22nd, 12:00 -1:30 PM, during California ACH Week!
California communities are under pressure with new Medi-Cal and CalFresh enrollment barriers, the impacts of immigration enforcement, and cuts to services people rely on. As the state prepares for new leadership and decisions about the future of health and well-being, how do communities move from responding to those decisions to shaping them?
Join a conversation about what puts communities at the center: the relationships, partnerships, and infrastructure that turn local knowledge into collective action. Drawing on the experience of California’s Accountable Communities for Health (ACHs) and partners across health care, public health, policy, and community-based organizations, we’ll explore what it takes to respond together today while building the community voice and influence needed to shape what comes next.

In this webinar, we’ll explore:
What do the current pressures on communities reveal about how our systems were built?
How ACHs are stepping up to respond to the current challenges and attacks on the social safety net?
What does it take to put communities at the heart of decision-making, not just implementation?
What infrastructure helps trust travel across sectors and become coordinated action?
With a new governor and legislature ahead, how can the voice and wisdom of communities shape the decisions being made?
Data, Measurement, and Impact Ad Hoc Webinar: This Thurs 9/24, 12-1pm
Reminder that we have an upcoming ad hoc webinar on data and measurement on Thursday, 9/24, 12:00 - 1:00pm.
Data, Measurement, and Impact Ad Hoc Webinar
Thurs, Sept. 24th, 2026
12:00 - 1:00 pm
Register Here - https://bit.ly/4gtAI9D
During this ad hoc webinar, you’ll learn about how to make a stronger case for your ACH’s work through data. Sticking points in leveraging data can look different – too much data with no clear filter; work that's hard to put a number on; or data that exists but hasn't been pulled into a persuasive argument. This webinar with Andy Krackov from Hillcrest Advisory will serve as a working session built around whichever challenge your ACH is facing. After a short opening, you'll break into a small group built around your specific challenge, and work through it directly with other CACHI sites. You'll leave with concrete steps you can take to ensure your data can make a stronger case for your ACH's work.
Bring your lunch and join us!
