July 2026
Welcome to our July 2026 CACHI Highlights Bulletin!
There’s a great deal of momentum across the ACH Network, and we’re excited about what’s ahead. As our network continues to grow and evolve, so do the opportunities to continue learning from one another, strengthen relationships, and work together toward shared goals.
In this issue, you’ll find updates on Peer Learning Circles, technical assistance and coaching opportunities, and an introduction to California ACH Week — an exciting new effort to showcase the collective impact and value of ACHs throughout the state. We are also sharing bittersweet news of a CACHI staff transition.
Thank you for your partnership, leadership, and commitment to this work. As always, thank you for reading the Highlights Bulletin. Questions or feedback? Please reach out to Tina at tina@cachi.org.

CACHI Staff Updates: Arpiné
By Arpiné Shakhbandaryan
I’m sharing a personal update that I’ll be transitioning from my role at CACHI and will be passing the baton to a new Program Manager. As you may know, we are currently in the process of hiring a new Program Manager. My official last day with CACHI will be August 14.
While being part of CACHI has been a truly rewarding experience, both personally and professionally, I’m excited to dedicate more time to supporting my son’s school and pursuing creative public art projects.
Over the coming weeks, I’ll be helping with the transition and recruitment for the Program Manager role. I also look forward to connecting with many of you at our August 5th Quarterly Virtual Learning and Network Meeting and sharing my gratitude for being part of this incredible community.
I’m grateful to have worked alongside such a talented, passionate, and brilliant team of colleagues, consultants, and ACHs across California. Thank you all for your partnership, collaboration, and support. I am immensely proud of what we’ve accomplished together, and I look forward to watching CACHI continue to grow and thrive.
I’d love to stay in touch! Feel free to reach me at artbyarpine@gmail.com or connect with me on LinkedIn.
California ACH Week: A Statewide Event to Tell Our Story Together
Over the past several months–at the April Network Meeting, the May Quarterly Webinar, and through the Ad Hoc Advisory Group for Network Building–we've heard a consistent message from the ACHs: that the ACH network has a powerful story, and it’s time to tell it more intentionally and collectively to policymakers, funders, partners, and communities.
Building on your ideas, we’re excited to launch California ACH Week. Envisioned as a coordinated celebration and awareness campaign, the event will raise the visibility of ACHs and their impact statewide. For one week later this year–with CACHI facilitating shared messaging, branding, communications, and scheduled events–the unique work of each ACH across California will become part of a single compelling and visible story.
We recognize that capacity, staffing, and funding strains mean some ACHs will have more time to contribute than others. Therefore, participation isn't intended to be one-size-fits-all. We’re designing the week so all 36 ACHs can be represented: contributions can range from no time at all (with your permission, we'll feature your ACH's name, impact report highlights, and website or photos in the statewide campaign) to more active participation, like hosting a local event. Whether your ACH shares local stories, highlights community partnerships, meets with elected officials, engages local media, or simply permits CACHI to amplify their work, we invite every ACH to participate in ways that are meaningful and achievable for your community.
Help Shape ACH Week
We’ll discuss California ACH Week during our upcoming Quarterly Virtual Learning & Network Webinar (Wednesday, August 5th, 10:00 - 12:00 PM; see registration details below).
This is an opportunity to help shape the event, and we’d love to hear from you about:
What kinds of activities would you be excited to participate in?
What support or resources would be most helpful?
How can we make participation valuable and achievable for every ACH?
We hope you’ll join this conversation, so we can build this exciting effort together!
